Enabling your BlackBerry HTML Browser
Use your BlackBerry's HTML browser to access more Web
sites and view pictures and images. The Internet Browser is available
to all TELUS Mobility BlackBerry clients. Clients who signed up before
May 31 and want the Internet Browser can add it in three simple steps:
Clients using handheld software 4.0:
- From the Home screen, click Options > Host Routing Table
- Click the trackwheel to display the screen menu.
- Click Register Now.
Clients using handheld software
3.71:
- On the Home screen, click Options > Network.
- Click the trackwheel to display the screen menu.
- Click Register Now.
Once the update is downloaded, a new globe icon Internet Browser
will appear. You'll see one of the following depending on your software
version:

The Internet Browser requires BlackBerry handheld software version 3.7.1
or later.
To check your software version: From
your BlackBerry Home Screen select Options > About. The third line
shows the handheld software version ( i.e. v4.0.0.160).
