
Subscribing to Roadside Assistance provides emergency automotive services such as towing, winching and emergency fuel with one call.

Roadside Assistance is linked to your TELUS mobile phone. You will need to give your phone number and have your phone with you when obtaining assistance.
The toll-free number can be reached from any phone in Canada and the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. Prepaid phone coverage is available only within Canada, so you need to make the toll free call from another phone when requiring service within the U.S.
Prepaid accounts must have sufficient funds for Roadside Assistance service to be added. Your Roadside Assistance service might be terminated when your prepaid account is not topped-up within 90 days of the suspend date or your phone number is cancelled.
Roadside Assistance is not a reimbursement program. You must call the toll free number for service.
Service is available for legally registered light passenger vehicles (i.e. sedans, coupes, convertibles, SUVs, minivans, light-duty pickups, etc.). RVs, motorcycles, boats, trailers and/or vehicles with more than 2 axles and/or more than 4 wheels are not covered. Any vehicles designed or modified for commercial or heavy-duty use are not covered (i.e. limousines, emergency vehicles, public transportation vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, etc.)
Not valid when operating off road.
Included service is limited to five calls per enrollment year. After five calls, or for services not included, Roadside Assistance can arrange services at low commercial rates.
Winching services include the extrication of a vehicle from a ditch, mud or snow provided the vehicle has become stuck immediately adjacent to the regularly travelled road and the vehicle can be safely reached with standard service equipment.
This service covers towing for mechanical problems only. Towing for accidents, misuse and other damage (i.e. collision, fire, theft, freezing, vandalism, explosion, driving over curbs or damage caused by airborne debris, road debris and/or weather-related phenomena.) are not covered.
If roadside service exceeds the maximum benefit of $50.00 ($100.00 for winching) per service call, you are responsible for the difference in cost at the time of service.
Your coverage will become effective 72 hours after enrollment.
While prompt attention to your call is assured, this service is not responsible for delays. Nor is this service responsible for extra expenses associated with such delays. This includes, but is not limited to, inconvenience, storage, payment for lost time, vehicle rental expense, lodging, meals, other travel costs and/or other miscellaneous expenses.
Fuel replenishment is available if you've completely run out of gasoline or diesel.
Vehicle must be attended when service arrives.
You may cancel your participation in the program at any time.
Your Roadside Assistance service may be terminated or suspended for non-payment of your TELUS Mobility wireless bill.
The Roadside Assistance program for TELUS Mobility clients is provided by Asurion Roadside Assistance Services Inc.
Neither Asurion nor TELUS Mobility make any warranties as to actual response times on individual calls and are not responsible for service delays.
Once enrolled, Roadside Assistance goes with your phone. So anyone with your phone can get help.
If you go from a prepaid to a montly plan, you keep the value of any remaining full months on your annual Roadside Assistance account at $4/month.
Roadside Assistance can be added to your TELUS Mobility account by visiting your account, your nearest TELUS Mobility store, or by contacting our Client Care department.

Whenever you need assistance, simply call the toll free 1-800 number included in your welcome kit from any phone. You will receive your welcome kit within 10 business days of signing up for the service.
Once enrolled, Roadside Assistance goes with your phone. So anyone with your phone can get help for any vehicle they are traveling in.
Prepaid clients migrating to a postpaid plan will retain the value of any remaining full months on their annual Roadside Assistance account. For example: If you migrate to a postpaid plan from Prepaid after 6 months of signing up for Roadside Assistance, you would be credited 6 months x $4/month=$24. (Remember, Prepaid clients are billed for the whole first year not to exceed $40 credit).
