Use Mike's Direct Connect to communicate with your Mike contacts, and over 22 million North American Direct Connect users, across Canada and the US.

Accessing Direct Connect

To use Direct Connect across Canada and the US, you need to know your contact's full Direct Connect number, which has 3 parts:

• AREA ID + FLEET ID + MEMBER ID

Typically, the following procedures work for most Mike handsets. Try them and if they don't work, consult your user guide by selecting your handset on the main Support page.

To Direct Connect someone:

1. Key in their Area ID.
2. Press * and key in their Fleet ID.
3. Press * and key in their Member ID.
4. Press and hold the appropriate PTT (push to talk) button.
5. Begin talking after your phone emits a chirping sound.
6. Release the PTT button to listen.
7. To end the call press O, or press - under Exit.

For all contacts, especially new ones, program their full Direct Connect number.

Finding your full Direct Connect number

For handset models: i30sx, i35s, i55sr, i60c, i80s, i85s, i90c, i95cl i205, i305, i530, i730:

1. Press menu.
2. Select my info.
3. View Prvt ID.

For handset models: i500plus, i700plus, i550plus, i1000plus

• Press *#2.
