Phones and accessories that are hearing aid compatible will work with hearing aids that support the telephone switch feature. This is known as the T-switch that is built into a hearing aid. Check with your hearing aid equipment provider to ensure your hearing aid has a T-switch.
Hearing aid compatible mobile phones are measured through an M# and T#. The M# represents how well the mobile phone works with a hearing aid in microphone mode, and the T# represents how the mobile phone works in T-Coil mode. Scaled from 1 to 4, a rating of 4 results in the best level of compatibility between cellphone and hearing aid.
