With roadside assistance, no matter what happens on the road to slow you down, we'll be there to help get you back on your way.
Roadside assistance is unique because it goes with your TELUS Mobility phone so you can get help for almost any vehicle† you're in. It gives you the security you need while you're on the go, whether you're travelling in Canada or the U.S. 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Roadside assistance includes the following:
- Help for almost any vehicle† you're travelling in
- Spare tire installation - if your tire is flat, we'll put on your spare or provide a tow
- Battery boost - we'll jumpstart your battery if it's dead
- Emergency gas delivery - if your vehicle has run out of fuel, we'll give you up to 12 litres of gasoline or diesel
- Lock-out service - if you're locked out of your vehicle, we'll get you unlocked and provide you with a new key if yours is lost or stolen
- Towing - if your vehicle needs towing, we'll tow you to a local destination of your choice
- Winching - if your vehicle needs winching, we'll pull it out from the snow, from the mud or from a ditch

To receive roadside assistance, you need these items:
Monthly rate plan
All TELUS monthly subscribers and any numbers associated to their accounts are eligible, and your account is billed $4/month.
Sufficient prepaid balance
Prepaid clients with appropriate funds in their account upon activation can sign up for a year of roadside assistance for $40.
Get roadside assistance
To subscribe to roadside assistance, do one of the following:
- Log into your TELUS account and add a package in self-serve*. Register if you don't have an account.
- Call 611 on your TELUS handset.
- Visit an authorized TELUS store. Find a store.

*The services available in self-serve depend upon your rate plan and handset model. If you don't see a service online, call TELUS by dialing 611 on your handset.
** The roadside assistance toll-free number is available from anywhere in Canada or the US, including Alaska and Hawaii. #AUTO is available from anywhere in Canada, on TM's network. #AUTO is airtime-free. The toll-free number is not airtime free when called from the cellular.
