There are three versions of Navigator, V2, V4 and V5; which version you use depends on your smartphone or mobile phone. Here are just a few of the reasons why you’d want to subscribe to Navigator on your mobile phone or smartphone.

With TELUS Navigator V5, you can enjoy the following functionality:

	Enhanced User Interface V5 supports a cleaner, more intuitive User Interface that allows easy access to all the features (eg: Maps, Weather, Movie Listings, Local Events and Tips) of the application in a few simple steps.
	Put yourself on the MAP Find your GPS location and over 15 million local businesses across North America in seconds. View any location on a colour map and get directions to your destination.
	Automatic Speech Recognition Make driving a safer experience by using voice prompts to dictate your destination when using turn-by-turn navigation.
	Get real-time, audible turn-by-turn directions Get to your destination using real-time, voice-prompted turn-by-turn directions and a 3D Map view. You’ll hear and see notifications of upcoming turns on your screen. Plus if you miss a turn Navigator automatically updates your route to get you back on track fast.
	Avoid traffic Help avoid traffic with traffic speed and traffic incident alerts. Traffic speed is indicated on a map with green, yellow or red markers. Traffic speed is monitored on major highways in Toronto. Traffic incident alerts are delivered to your mobile phone or smartphone to notify you of any delays along your route caused by accidents, construction and other traffic incidents. Choose the traffic detour option to get to your destination avoiding delays along your route. Coverage is currently available in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City.
	US roaming Enjoy all the capabilities of TELUS Navigator while travelling across North America. Plus, traffic speed and incident alerts are available for major US cities. US Roaming charges apply to use of TELUS Navigator while in US.
	Pedestrian Navigation Enhanced Pedestrian Navigation displays the best route by utilizing foot bridges and walkways and is not limited to sidewalks of streets. It also tracks your progress by displaying bread crumbs.
	Discover new places and share Use Local Search to find and get directions to over 15 million local businesses across North America such as coffee shops, malls, restaurants, movie theatres, movie show times, gas stations, ATMs and more. Send a Place Message to share a map of your current location or any other meeting place. Using Navigator, a recipient of a Place Message can view a map and get turn-by turn directions to the destination.
	TELUS Navigator meets Facebook! Now you can easily update your Facebook status and location by using TELUS Navigator. Send a message and share your current location with friends with a click of a button.
	National weather forecast Access current weather conditions or get short and long-term forecast for your current GPS location or any location across North America.

Navigator V4 offers navigation features and is available on a broad range of Smartphones. With Navigator V4, you get audible turn-by-turn navigation, 3D maps, and POI search such as Movies, Weather, Local Events and so on. Navigator V4 is available in Canada and US only.
