Follow these steps to activate your Micro SIM card directly on your iPad.
- On your computer, download and install the latest iTunes software from apple.com
- Connect your iPad to your computer, launch iTunes
- Allow iTunes to sync with your iPad and select Download and Update
- Once the download is complete, shut down and restart your iPad
- On your iPad, select Settings > Cellular Data > View Account
