Then, with your own bill in hand, review the various sections against the guide.
If you don't see a section listed on your bill, it means you didn't use any of those billable service types so that section is suppressed.
You can also sign up for Detailed billing or go paper-free and view your bill online using e.Bill.
If this is your first bill from TELUS, it will be a little different than future bills.
Your first invoice will include some 'one-time' charges, such as your phone activation fee. We also bill your rate plan one month in advance, which will be added to the amount of your rate plan pro-rated from your date of activation to your billing date. These extra charges result in a first invoice that may be higher than what you expect. Your next invoice will better reflect your actual monthly charges.
