Prepaid - how to top up

Topping up is easy!

Choose one of four convenient ways: TELUS Prepaid airtime card, Credit Card, INTERAC® Online or CIBC Bank Machine.
 

Register a credit card to do a one-time top up anytime or to sign up securely for the convenience of 30-day automatic top-ups.

Step 1 Register your credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Amex) Online
  • log in to your account at telusmobility.com
  • Select the 'Account Activity' tab and click the 'Pre-authorized payments' link

  • Call #123 from your Prepaid phone
  • Select Option 5: 'To register a credit card or manage a previously registered credit card'
  • Or, you can call Client Care at *611 to register the credit card
Step 2 Add money to your account Online
  • Log in to your account at telusmobility.com
  • Select 'TELUS Prepaid Top-up your account'
  • To complete a one time top-up, select 'one time credit card'
  • To set up automatic top-ups, select '30-day' or 'minimum balance'

  • Call #123 from your Prepaid phone
  • Select option 1: 'add money to your account using a TELUS Prepaid Card, TELUS Prepaid Virtual PIN or credit card'
    • OR
  • Select option 2: 'set up automatic top-up or minimum balance top up'

30-day top-ups: Your account will be automatically topped-up every 30 days with your preferred amount ($10, $25 or $50).

Minimum balance top-ups: Your account will be automatically topped-up with your preferred amount ($10, $25 or $50) when your balance falls below $5 and every 30 days. Please note, regular 30 day top-ups will occur in addition to any minimum balance top-ups made during the month.

Prepaid top-up cards are available in $10, $25, $50 and $100 amounts, at over 6,000 convenient locations across Canada.

Step 2 Add money to your account Online
  • log in to your account at telusmobility.com
  • select 'TELUS Prepaid Top-up your account'
  • Click on 'airtime card' to input PIN number

Use INTERAC® Online to top-up directly from your bank account - our newest payment option. It's secure and easy to use.

Step 1 Add money to your account Online
  • log in to your account at telusmobility.com
  • select 'TELUS Prepaid Top-up your account'
  • select 'INTERAC® Online'

Use your CIBC bank card to purchase top-ups at any participating CIBC bank machine

Step 1 Purchase a top-up using your CIBC bank card  
  • at any participating CIBC bank machine, select 'Other Services' from the main menu, followed by 'TELUS Mobility'
  • Select $10, $25, $50 or $100 top-up
  • you will receive a printed receipt with an airtime code
Step 2 Add money to your account Online
  • log in to your account at telusmobility.com
  • select 'TELUS Prepaid Top-up your account'
  • Click on 'airtime card' to input PIN number
