Web activation: activate your phone

If you receive a new TELUS handset, you can activate it online or by calling TELUS, regardless of whether you are a new or existing TELUS client.

You also save money as web activation has a lower fee than activating over the phone.

New to TELUS

To activate online, you need:

  • A new TELUS mobile phone or smartphone (PDA or BlackBerry)
  • An email address
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox with 128-bit encryption

As part of your activation, you will register for a TELUS account, which you'll use to manage your account.

Have two pieces of personal identification on hand.

Calling hours for PCS and Prepaid:

  • Monday to Friday 8am to 10pm (EST)
  • Saturday to Sunday 9am to 7pm (EST)

Calling hours for Mike:

  • Monday to Friday 8am to 9pm (EST)
  • Saturday to Sunday 9am to 7pm (EST)
