TELUS Kid Find lets you locate family members’ real-time GPS location using your mobile phone or PC1,2.
The GPS location of your look-up is displayed on a colour map on your mobile phone or PC.

Get started
To use TELUS Kid Find, you need these items:
- A mobile phone designated as a Parent mobile phone, or a PC web browser.
- A mobile phone designated as a Kid mobile phone. Note: a Kid mobile phone can be designated to any friend or family member, not just your child.
- A TELUS account.
Important note: A Kid mobile phone can not look-up the location of any Parent phone. Use a designated Parent phone or your PC web browser to look-up the location of a Kid mobile phone.

The following Parent mobile phones are capable of looking up GPS location of a Kid mobile phone.

Kid mobile phones
All TELUS CDMA handsets are Kid capable.
Note: If a mobile phone is both Parent and Kid capable, this means the phone is capable of looking-up the GPS location of another Kid phone and the same phone can also be used as a Kid phone and its GPS location looked-up from a PC web browser.
A TELUS account
Log into your TELUS account. Click on the 'Applications' tab to select the TELUS Kid Find application.
Note: The services available in self-serve depend upon your rate plan and phone’s model. If you don't see a service online, call TELUS by dialing 611 on your mobile phone.
- Register if you don't have an account.
- Call *611 on your TELUS handset.
- Visit an authorized TELUS store. Find a store.

TELUS Kid Find is available anywhere within our GPS coverage area.

1. GPS location information can be accessed only by family members sharing the same TELUS account, or assigned individuals. TELUS GPS services are designed with your privacy and security in mind. We use a comprehensive suite of security features to ensure privacy so that only authorized users will have access to location information. Click here for more details on how we protect your privacy.
2. A text message will be sent to the kid phone indicating that their GPS location is being looked-up.
3. Get your five free look-ups offer by signing in to your TELUS account. Look-up GPS location using your PC browser or from your mobile phone. FREE trial includes five lookups of one family member or assigned individual.
4. $0.50 initial application download fee applies.
