Prepaid service

TELUS Prepaid is a service designed just for you. With no credit checks, contracts or monthly bills, you can personalize your service to suit your specific needs. You also get included extras like Voice Mail, Call Waiting, Call Display and Conference Calling.

You can also add credits to your account by using your credit card, Interac® online, or by purchasing a top-up card from one of over 6000 location across Canada. You can top-up your account with $10, $25, $50 or $100 using a wireless top-up card, your credit card or by using Interac® online with your debit card.

If you already have a device, you’ll need to purchase a Starter Kit during the activation process. Alternatively, you can activate using a Prepaid wireless top-up card. Your anytime rate is based on your activation top-up amount.

If you’re activating an HSPA device, you’ll need to purchase a TELUS SIM Card which you can order online or at any one of our convenient locations. Use the Network Compatibility Tool to determine whether or not your non-TELUS device is technically compatible with the TELUS network. Please note that non-TELUS devices activated on TELUS Prepaid will have voice and text services only. Some services may be different or unavailable on your non-TELUS device.
