MyRewards is a loyalty program exclusively for TELUS Prepaid clients that gives you a little something extra as our way of saying thanks for choosing us as your mobile service provider. It allows you to earn MyRewards dollars you can use toward one of our latest mobile phones. All you have to do is keep topping up.

Enjoy a cool new phone

Being able to enjoy a new phone has never been easier. Just keep topping up to watch your phone discount grow in value to a maximum of 200 MyRewards dollars. You’ll receive MyReward dollars in increments of 5 and you can start redeeming with as little as 50. We’ll send you a free text message each time you’ve earned more MyRewards dollars.

Not ready for a new phone yet? Take your time – your current MyRewards balance will remain active for one year from the time it’s earned.


Getting a new phone is easy with MyRewards

Step 1

Choose one of the following options to redeem your MyRewards balance toward a new phone:

  1. Visit a TELUS store or authorized dealer near you.
    Simply drop by a TELUS store or authorized dealer with your valid photo ID. Find a store near you.

  2. Visit telusmobility.com
    Simply sign into your account, click on the 'MyRewards balance' link in the 'Overview' tab.

  3. Call us at 1-866-558-2273
    Have your PIN ready and a client care representative will be ready to assist you.

Step 2

Choose one of our latest mobile phones to apply your MyRewards balance toward.

Choose from our wide selection of new phones, and we'll apply the discount toward the price. If you decide to call us or go online to redeem, we'll even ship it to you directly.


Frequently asked questions

Q: Who is eligible for MyRewards?

A: All TELUS PCS Prepaid clients are automatically enrolled in the program upon activation of their account.

Q: How do I earn MyRewards dollars?

A: Each time your top-ups reach a cumulative total of $100, 5 MyRewards dollars will be added to your MyRewards balance.* It’s a 5% bonus for topping up your minutes.

Top-ups starting from December 17, 2008 will be eligible. 5 MyRewards dollars will be added to your MyRewards balance within 7 days of your qualifying top-up. A text message will be sent to your phone once 5 MyRewards dollars have been added. Text messages from TELUS are free of charge.

If necessary, be prepared to pay for any difference between your MyRewards balance and the price of your new phone.

Q: What can I redeem my MyRewards dollars toward?

A: Once you’ve earned 50 MyRewards dollars or more, you can redeem them toward the no contract price of a new TELUS mobile phone.**

Q: How do I keep track of my MyRewards account?

A: You can keep track of your MyRewards balance, top-ups and see when MyRewards were last added by logging into your account on telusmobility.com. Simply click on the 'MyRewards balance' link in the 'Overview' tab.

Q: Will my MyRewards dollars be applied toward my account balance?

A: No, MyRewards dollars are tracked separately and will appear on your account balance. To view your MyRewards balance, log into your account on telusmobility.com. Click on the 'MyRewards balance' link in the 'Overview' tab.

Q: How long does my MyRewards balance remain on my account?

A: MyRewards dollars expire 12 months from the time they are added to your account.


* MyRewards dollars can take up to 7 days of your qualifying top-up to appear in your MyRewards balance.
** Smartphones, PC Aircards, Mike phones, TELUS Prepaid bundles, TELUS Prepaid starter kits, and refurbished phones are not eligible for this offer. If the value of the discount exceeds the cost of your equipment, the difference will not be credited to your account. Discount is not redeemable for cash, TELUS Prepaid balance credit or handset accessories and is not transferable.
