Because the screen on a mobile phone is much smaller than a computer monitor screen, Web sites are adapting their sites for mobile phones. This typically means less text and fewer graphics, which makes it easier to navigate using your phone. For this reason, a Web site you've seen on your computer may look different on your mobile phone.

Newer phones can provide a better Web browsing experience, using HTML browsers that have easy touchscreen selection and navigation.

Begin by pointing the browser on your phone to the TELUS Home Page. If this page doesn't load by default, select Home Page (TELUS WAP Browser) or TELUS Home Page from your Bookmarks list.

Three main areas of the TELUS Home Page can help you find what you're looking for quickly and easily:

• The Search field is useful if you already know what you're looking for (such as Web site, business name, or your favourite artist). Just type a search term in this field and select Search. A list of search results is displayed for you to select from.

• The Highlights area displays the latest updates on weather, news, sports, and entertainment, so you don't need to browse to a specific site for this information.

• The browsing categories contain links to the most popular sites and other sites within each category. The table below gives some details about each caategory.

  Quick Info	Information to help you stay updated and organized on the go. Read the news, do a 411 lookup, find an ATM or Wi-Fi™ spot, hail a cab, check your flight status, or check your bank balance, all from your phone.
  Shop	Downloadable applications, ringtones, music tracks, and games, as well as the new TELUS video on demand, where you can view a favourite TV show or video clip.
  Sports	The best sports sites, so you never miss the score even when you're on the go.
  Music	Popular music and artist sites, where you can download ringtones and music tracks
  Entertainment	Sites for movie listings, entertainment, and gossip

• If you want to go directly to a Web site, press the menu key, select Go To, type the URL, then select Go or OK.
