What you need to know

• TELUS Prepaid airtime rates and add-ons are purchased prior to use.
• TELUS Prepaid services are not available on the TELUS Mike network.
• TELUS Prepaid data services are currently unavailable on 4G network BlackBerry smartphones.
• TELUS Prepaid services are unavailable while travelling outside Canada.
• Voice Mail 3, Caller ID, and Call Waiting are automatically included with TELUS Prepaid airtime rates.
• You can purchase airtime rates and services, or make changes to your TELUS Prepaid account, by using one of the following methods:
  • Log in to your TELUS account. Register if you don't have one.
  • Use our automated service by calling #123 from your TELUS Prepaid phone or smartphone.
  • Visit a Product Care Centre. Use our Store Locator to find the closest location.
  • Contact us. A $2 service fee applies.

Compatibility

TELUS Prepaid is compatible with the following phones and smartphones:

• 3G network: All TELUS phones. Not compatible with TELUS smartphones and BlackBerry.
• 4G network: All TELUS phones and smartphones including BlackBerry (voice and text only), and Apple iPhone. Non-TELUS phones and smartphones must be unlocked and compatible with the TELUS 4G network. Use the Non TELUS device compatibility check to find out if your non-TELUS phone or smartphone is compatible.
  NOTE: TELUS does not unlock non-TELUS devices. A TELUS SIM card is required for all 4G network devices.

The following fees apply when you contact us to speak with a TELUS Support representative:

• $2 service fee to top-up, or change a feature, on TELUS Prepaid
• $15 activation fee to activate your TELUS Prepaid account
