How to Download Kid Find

There are four easy steps to get started with Kid Find:

	1.		Ensure that you have a compatible “parent” phone and “kid” phone
	2.		Add Kid Find subscription to the “parent” phone
	3.		Log into mytelusmobility.com to set up Kid Find
	4.		Download the Kid Find application onto the “parent” mobile phone

STEP 1. Compatible phones:

“Kid” Phones - All TELUS PCS Phones and PDAs

STEP 2. Add Kid Find subscription to the “parent” phone

Add Kid Find service to the “parent” phone through e.care at mytelusmobility.com. You can also call TELUS and speak with a representative to add Kid Find.

If you are trialing Kid Find, you can skip this step and come back to it when you are ready to subscribe for unlimited lookups.

Note: you must be the account owner or administrator to sign up for Kid Find.

STEP 3. Log into Kid Find online at mytelusmobility.com to activate your service

Kid Find online at mytelusmobility.com allows you to activate your service, and select and add members to your family list, locate your family members, and make changes to your account settings

STEP 4. Download the Kid Find application onto the “parent” mobile phone

If you have a compatible "parent" phone, follow these instructions to download Kid Find to your phone. If you do not have a compatible phone, you can continue to use Kid Find from your computer at mytelusmobility.com.

For most phones.

(See seperate instructions for the Motorola Krzr, Razr, Nokia 6165i and 6265i further below.)

	1.		Launch your phone’s menu
	2.		Select Tools & Apps or press the number 8
	3.		Select GPS Services or press the number 2, then Get New. The browser takes you to the GPs Services menu.
	4.		Select TELUS Kid Find, then buy now. TELUS Kid Find will begin download process
	5.		Select the application when it is shown in “My Storage” and select “Download Now”
	6.		The TELUS Kid Find application will download to your phone. When complete select “Run”
	7.		TELUS Kid Find will show downloading of voices and data and then the home page is displayed.
	8.		When the download is complete, the TELUS Kid Find application will be stored in your phone under Tools & Apps > GPs Services -> TELUS Kid Find

FOR MOTOROLA RAZR

	1.		Launch your phone's Do More menu
	2.		Select Applications or press the number 7
	3.		Select the Tools folder from this menu, then Get New. The browser takes you to the Games menu. Select Tools, and then GPs Services.
	4.		Select TELUS Kid Find, then buy now. TELUS Kid Find will begin download process
	5.		Select the application when it is shown in “My Storage” and select “Download Now”
	6.		The TELUS Kid Find application will download to your phone. When complete select “Run”
	7.		TELUS Kid Find will shown downloading of voices and data and then the home page is displayed.
	8.		When the download is complete, the TELUS Kid Find application will be stored in your phone under Applications > Tools -> TELUS Kid Find

FOR MOTOROLA KRZR

	1.		Launch your phone's Do More menu
	2.		Select Spark or press the number 5
	3.		Select My Games/Apps or press the number 3
	4.		Select the Tools folder from this menu, then Get New. The browser takes you to the Games menu. Select Tools, and then GPs Services.
	5.		Select TELUS Kid Find, then buy now. TELUS Kid Find will begin download process
	6.		Select the application when it is shown in "My Storage" and select "Download Now"
	7.		The TELUS Kid Find application will download to your phone. When complete select "Run"
	8.		TELUS Kid Find will shown downloading of voices and data and then the home page is displayed.
	9.		When the download is complete, the TELUS Kid Find application will be stored in your phone under SPARK -> My Games/Apps -> GPs Services -> TELUS Kid Find

For Nokia 6165i/6265i

	1.		Launch your phone's Menu
	2.		Select Shop or press the number 6
	3.		Select Apps and Connect or press the number 6.
	4.		Select Tools & Applications or press number 6.
	5.		Select GPs services or press the number 1.
	6.		Select TELUS Kid Find, then buy now.
	7.		Select the application when it is shown in "My Storage" and select "Download Now"
	8.		When asked to continue, select "Yes" and "Accept"
	9.		When in the Games & App Menu, select folder "Collection" and then select "Download".
	10.		The TELUS Kid Find application will download to your phone. When complete select Yes.
	11.		When the download is complete, the TELUS Kid Find application will be stored in your phone under Games & Apps > Collection-> TELUS Kid Find
