Bluetooth Pairing Instructions for Treo 700wx
NHFE1070 (Palm Treo Bluetooth Headset)
- Make sure the headset is turned off.
- Press and hold the multifunction button for 8 seconds until you see a solid blue light. Release the button.
- On your Treo 700wx, tap the Bluetooth icon.
- At the top of the screen, make sure Bluetooth is on.
- Tap Setup Devices.
- On the next screen, tap Hands-free Setup.
- On the Handsfree Setup screen, tap Next.
- When your Treo 700wx discovers the headset, it first displays "Unnamed Audio Device" and then it will display
"Treo Headset" with a headphone icon next to it. Wait until it displays "Treo Headset," then select this item, and then tap OK. Note:
Do not pair to "Unnamed Audio Device" or it will not operate correctly. Wait for "Treo Headset" to appear.
- A status message appears telling you that your phone is connecting with your headset.
- Enter passkey for Treo Headset: 0000 (four zeroes), and then tap OK.
- On the confirmation screen, tap Done.
- Pairing is complete.
N22318 (Motorola HS850 Bluetooth Headset)
- With the headset’s boom closed, press and hold the Multifunction Button until the headset indicator turns on (about 3 seconds).
- Release the button, then open the headset boom.
- On your Treo 700wx, tap the Bluetooth icon.
- At the top of the screen, make sure Bluetooth is on.
- Tap Setup Devices.
- On the next screen, tap Hands-free Setup.
- On the Handsfree Setup screen, tap Next.
- When your Treo 700wx discovers the headset, it first displays "Unnamed Audio Device" and then it will
display "Motorola HS850" with a headphone icon next to it. Wait until it displays "Motorola HS850," then select this item, and then tap OK.
Note: Do not pair to "Unnamed Audio Device" or it will not operate correctly. Wait for "Motorola HS850" to appear.
- A status message appears telling you that your phone is connecting with your headset.
- Enter passkey for Motorola HS850: 0000 (four zeroes), and then tap OK.
- On the confirmation screen, tap Done.
- Pairing is complete.
N22319 (Motorola HF820 Bluetooth Car Kit/Speaker)
- With the car kit/speaker on, press the Volume Button once to put the speaker into pairing mode (you will see a solid blue light).
- On your Treo 700wx, tap the Bluetooth icon.
- At the top of the screen, make sure Bluetooth is on.
- Tap Setup Devices.
- On the next screen, tap Hands-free Setup.
- On the Handsfree Setup screen, tap Next.
- When your Treo 700wx discovers the speaker, it first displays "Unnamed Audio Device" and then it will
display "Motorola HF820". Wait until it displays "Motorola HF820," then select this item, and then tap OK. Note: Do not pair to
"Unnamed Audio Device" or it will not operate correctly. Wait for "Motorola HF820" to appear.
- A status message appears telling you that your phone is connecting with your headset.
- Enter passkey for Motorola HF820: 0000 (four zeroes) and tap Ok.
- On the confirmation screen, tap Done.
- Pairing is complete.
NHFE1062 (Jabra BT800 Bluetooth Headset)
- Make sure the headset is turned on.
- Press on the stylus switch so that the blue LED at the centre of the jog wheel (mute button) goes solid blue.
- On your Treo 700wx, tap the Bluetooth icon.
- At the top of the screen, make sure Bluetooth is on.
- Tap Setup Devices.
- On the next screen, tap Hands-free Setup.
- On the Handsfree Setup screen, tap Next.
- When your Treo 700wx discovers the headset, it first displays "Unnamed Audio Device" and then it will display
"Jabra BT800" with a headphone icon next to it. Wait until it displays "Jabra BT800," then select this item, and then tap OK.
Note: Do not pair to "Unnamed Audio Device" or it will not operate correctly. Wait for "Jabra BT800" to appear.
- A status message appears telling you that your phone is connecting with your headset.
- Enter passkey for Jabra BT800: 0000 (four zeroes), and then tap OK.
- On the confirmation screen, tap Done.
- Pairing is complete.
NHFE1061 (JABRA BT250v Bluetooth Headset)
NB: Headset does not support call waiting function on the Treo 700wx.
- With the headset off, press and hold the Multifunction Button until you see a solid blue light (approximately 8 seconds).
- Release the Multifunction Button.
- On your Treo 700wx, tap the Bluetooth icon.
- At the top of the screen, make sure Bluetooth is on.
- Tap Setup Devices.
- On the next screen, tap Hands-free Setup.
- On the Handsfree Setup screen, tap Next.
- When your Treo 700wx discovers the headset, it first displays "Unnamed Audio Device" and then it
will display "Jabra BT250v" with a headphone icon next to it. Wait until it displays "Jabra BT250v," then select this item, and then tap
OK. Note: Do not pair to "Unnamed Audio Device" or it will not operate correctly. Wait for "Jabra BT250v" to appear.
- A status message appears telling you that your phone is connecting with your headset.
- Enter passkey for JABRA BT250v: 0000 (four zeroes), and then tap OK.
- On the confirmation screen, tap Done.
- Pairing is complete.
NHFP1128 (JABRA SP500 Bluetooth Speakster)
NB: Speakster does not support call waiting function on the Treo 700wx.
- With the Speakster on, press and hold the Multifunction Button until you see a solid blue light (approximately 5 seconds).
- Release the Multifunction Button.
- On your Treo 700wx, tap the Bluetooth icon.
- At the top of the screen, make sure Bluetooth is on.
- Tap Setup Devices.
- On the next screen, tap Hands-free Setup.
- On the Handsfree Setup screen, tap Next.
- When your Treo 700wx discovers the speaker, it first displays "Unnamed Audio Device" and then it will display
"Jabra SP500”. Wait until it displays "Jabra SP500,” then select this item, and then tap OK. Note: Do not pair to "Unnamed Audio Device"
or it will not operate correctly. Wait for "Jabra SP500” to appear.
- A status message appears telling you that your phone is connecting with your speaker.
- Enter passkey for JABRA SP500: 0000 (four zeroes), and then tap OK.
- On the confirmation screen, tap Done.
- Pairing is complete.
NHFE1053 (Plantronics M2500 Bluetooth Headset)
NB: Headset does not support call waiting function on the Treo 700wx.
- Press and hold the Call Control button down while rotating the Multifunction Dial upward.
- Release the buttons when the Status Indicator begins to flash red then green.
- On your Treo 700wx, tap the Bluetooth icon.
- At the top of the screen, make sure Bluetooth is on.
- Tap Setup Devices.
- On the next screen, tap Hands-free Setup.
- On the Handsfree Setup screen, tap Next.
- When your Treo 700wx discovers the headset, it first displays "Unnamed Audio Device" and then it
will display "Plantronics M2500" with a headphone icon next to it. Wait until it displays "Plantronics M2500," then select
this item, and then tap OK. Note: Do not pair to "Unnamed Audio Device" or it will not operate correctly.
Wait for "Plantronics M2500" to appear.
- A status message appears telling you that your phone is connecting with your headset.
- Enter passkey for Plantronics M2500: 0000 (four zeroes), and then tap OK.
- On the confirmation screen, tap Done.
- Pairing is complete.
NHFE1072 (Plantronics V510 Bluetooth Headset)
NB: Headset does not support call waiting function on the Treo 700wx.
- Press and hold the Call Control button down while rotating the Multifunction Dial upward.
- Release the buttons when the Status Indicator begins to flash red then green.
- On your Treo 700wx, tap the Bluetooth icon.
- At the top of the screen, make sure Bluetooth is on.
- Tap Setup Devices.
- On the next screen, tap Hands-free Setup.

Wait for "Plantronics V510" to appear.
- A status message appears telling you that your phone is connecting with your headset.
- Enter passkey for Plantronics V510: 0000 (four zeroes), and then tap OK.
- On the confirmation screen, tap Done.
- Pairing is complete.
NHFE1074 (Bluespoon AX Bluetooth Headset)
NB: Headset does not support call waiting function on the Treo 700wx.
- Hold the ON/OFF switch down for approx 10 seconds until the headset begins to blink in a red-blue sequence. The AX is now ready for pairing.
- On your Treo 700wx, tap the Bluetooth icon.
- At the top of the screen, make sure Bluetooth is on.
- Tap Setup Devices.
- On the next screen, tap Hands-free Setup.
- On the Handsfree Setup screen, tap Next.
- When your Treo 700wx discovers the headset, it first displays "Unnamed Audio Device" and then
it will display "Bluespoon AX" with a headphone icon next to it. Wait until it displays "Bluespoon AX," then select this
item, and then tap OK. Note: Do not pair to "Unnamed Audio Device" or it will not operate correctly.
Wait for "Bluespoon AX" to appear.
- A status message appears telling you that your phone is connecting with your headset.
- Enter passkey for Bluespoon AX: 0000 (four zeroes), and then tap OK.
- On the confirmation screen, tap Done.
- Pairing is complete.
N98676 (Motorola Bluetooth Car Kit IHF1000)
- With the car kit and Treo 700wx in close proximity, press the Talk button.
- When prompted, say “Setup Menu.” The system responds: “Setup menu. Please say a command.”
- Say “Pair Phone.” The system responds: “Set your phone in scan mode and enter
- 1234 when prompted for the passcode.”
- On your Treo 700wx, tap the Bluetooth icon.
- At the top of the screen, make sure Bluetooth is on.
- Tap Setup Devices.
- On the next screen, tap Hands-free Setup.
- On the Handsfree Setup screen, tap Next.
- When your Treo 700wx discovers the speaker, it first displays "Unnamed Audio Device"
and then it will display "Motorola IHF1000". Wait until it displays "Motorola IHF1000," then select this item,
and then tap OK. Note: Do not pair to "Unnamed Audio Device" or it will not operate correctly. Wait for
"Motorola IHF1000" to appear.
- A status message appears telling you that your phone is connecting with your headset.
- Enter passkey for Motorola IHF1000: 1234 and tap Ok.
- On the confirmation screen, tap Done.
- Pairing is complete.
NGPS1001 (Palm GPS Navigator)
- On your Treo 700wx, tap the Bluetooth icon.
- At the top of the screen, make sure Bluetooth is on.
- Tap Setup Devices.
- On the next screen, tap Trusted Devices.
- On the Trusted Devices screen, tap Add Device.
- Turn on GPS Navigator. It is ready for pairing when the Bluetooth light is rapidly blinking blue.
- On the Discovery Results screen, you will see palmOne GPS. Select it and tap OK.
- Enter passkey for palmOne GPS: 0000 (four zeroes), and then tap OK.
- On the confirmation screen, tap Done.
- Pairing is complete when the rapid blinking on the GPS Navigator returns to a steady blink.
N22333 (Motorola H700 Bluetooth Headset)

- With the headset off, hold the Multifunction Button until the LED remains on (about 5 seconds).
- Release the button, then open the headset boom.
- On your Treo 700wx, tap the Bluetooth icon.
- At the top of the screen, make sure Bluetooth is on.
- Tap Setup Devices.
- On the next screen, tap Hands-free Setup.
- On the Handsfree Setup screen, tap Next.
- When your Treo 700wx discovers the headset, it first displays "Unnamed Audio Device"
and then it will display "Motorola H700" with a headphone icon next to it. Wait until it displays "Motorola H700,"
then select this item, and then tap OK. Note: Do not pair to "Unnamed Audio Device" or it will not operate correctly.
Wait for "Motorola H500" to appear.
- A status message appears telling you that your phone is connecting with your headset.
- Enter passkey for Motorola H500: 0000 (four zeroes), and then tap OK.
- On the confirmation screen, tap Done.

N98677 (Motorola Razrwire Bluetooth Sunglasses)
- With the module turned off, press and hold the Multifunction Button until you hear a high-pitched tone in the ear speaker.
- Note: When the module is successfully in pairing mode the indicator light will remain solidly lit.
- On your Treo 700wx, tap the Bluetooth icon.
- At the top of the screen, make sure Bluetooth is on.
- Tap Setup Devices.
- On the next screen, tap Hands-free Setup.
- On the Handsfree Setup screen, tap Next.
- When your Treo 700wx discovers the headset, it first displays "Unnamed Audio Device"
and then it will display "Oakley RAZRWIRE" with a headphone icon next to it. Wait until it displays " Oakley RAZRWIRE,"
then select this item, and then tap OK. Note: Do not pair to "Unnamed Audio Device" or it will not operate correctly.
Wait for " Oakley RAZRWIRE " to appear.
- A status message appears telling you that your phone is connecting with your headset.
- Enter passkey for Oakley RAZRWIRE: 0000 (four zeroes), and then tap OK.
- On the confirmation screen, tap Done.
- Pairing is complete.
