Bluetooth Pairing Instructions for Motorola Q Accessories

N22318 (Motorola HS850 Bluetooth Headset)

  1. With the headset's boom closed, press and hold the Multifunction Button until the headset indicator turns on (about 3 seconds).
  2. Release the button, then open the headset boom.
  3. Press the Menu key on the Motorola Q.
  4. Select Paired Devices on the Motorola Q.
  5. Press the Add key on the Motorola Q.
  6. The Motorola Q will search for and list devices in range.
  7. Select Motorola HS850
  8. Enter 0000 in the Passkey field using the keypad. To enable the Number pad, press the Alt key twice.
  9. Press the Done key.
  10. Pairing is complete.

N22995 (Motorola HS820 Bluetooth Headset)

  1. With the headset off, hold the Multifunction Button until the LED remains on (about 5 seconds).
  2. Press the Menu key on the Motorola Q.
  3. Select Paired Devices on the Motorola Q.
  4. Press the Add key on the Motorola Q.
  5. The Motorola Q will search for and list devices in range.
  6. Select Motorola HS820
  7. Enter 0000 in the Passkey field using the keypad. To enable the Number pad, press the Alt key twice.
  8. Press the Done key.
  9. Pairing is complete.

NHFE1061 (JABRA BT250v Bluetooth FreeSpeak w/ Vibe)

  1. With the headset off, press and hold the Multifunction Button until you see a solid blue light (approximately 8 seconds).
  2. Release the Multifunction Button.
  3. Press the Menu key on the Motorola Q.
  4. Select Paired Devices on the Motorola Q.
  5. Press the Add key on the Motorola Q.
  6. The Motorola Q will search for and list devices in range.
  7. Select Motorola HS850
  8. Enter 0000 in the Passkey field using the keypad. To enable the Number pad, press the Alt key twice.
  9. Press the Done key.
  10. Pairing is complete.

NHFP1128 (JABRA SP500 Bluetooth Speakster)

  1. With the Speakster on, press and hold the Multifunction Button until you see a solid blue light (approximately 5 seconds).
  2. Release the Multifunction Button.
  3. Select Options on the Motorola Q.
  4. Select Bluetooth on the Motorola Q (make sure Bluetooth option is enabled).
  5. Select Add Device on the Motorola Q (Motorola Q begins searching for devices).
  6. Select JABRA SP500 (Motorola Q waits for the device).
  7. Enter passkey for JABRA SP500: 0000 (four zeroes).
  8. Pairing is complete.

NHFE1053 (Plantronics M2500 Bluetooth Headset)

  1. Press and hold the Call Control button down while rotating the Multifunction Dial upward.
  2. Release the buttons when the Status Indicator begins to flash red then green.
  3. Select Options on the Motorola Q.
  4. Select Bluetooth on the Motorola Q (make sure Bluetooth option is enabled).
  5. Select Add Device on the Motorola Q (Motorola Q begins searching for devices).
  6. Select Plantronics M2500 (Motorola Q waits for the device).
  7. Enter passkey for Plantronics M2500: 0000 (four zeroes).
  8. Pairing is complete.

N22319 (Motorola Bluetooth Wireless Speaker HF820)

  1. With the car kit/speaker on, press the Volume Button once to put the speaker into pairing mode (you will see a solid blue light).
  2. Select Options on the Motorola Q.
  3. Select Bluetooth on the Motorola Q (make sure Bluetooth option is enabled).
  4. Select Add Device on the Motorola Q (Motorola Q begins searching for devices).
  5. Select Motorola HF820 (Motorola Q waits for the device).
  6. Enter passkey for Motorola HF820: 0000 (four zeroes).
  7. Pairing is complete.

N98675 (Motorola Bluetooth Car Kit HF850)

  1. If the car kit's Multi-Function button is flashing: Press and hold it until it stops flashing
  2. Press and hold the Multi-Function button until a flash alternates between the Multi-Function button and the voice dial button
  3. Select Options on the Motorola Q.
  4. Select Bluetooth on the Motorola Q (make sure Bluetooth option is enabled).
  5. Select Add Device on the Motorola Q (Motorola Q begins searching for devices).
  6. Select Motorola HF850 (Motorola Q waits for the device).
  7. Enter passkey for Motorola HF850: 0000 (four zeroes).
  8. Pairing is complete.

N98676 (Motorola Bluetooth Car Kit IHF1000)

  1. with the car kit and phone in close proximity: Press the TALK button
  2. When prompted, say "Setup Menu- The system responds: Setup menu. Please say a command
  3. Say "Pair Phone, The system responds: Set your phone in scan mode and enter
    1234 when prompted for the passcode.
  4. Select Options on the Motorola Q.
  5. Select Bluetooth on the Motorola Q (make sure Bluetooth option is enabled).
  6. Select Add Device on the Motorola Q (Motorola Q begins searching for devices).
  7. Select Motorola IHF1000 (Motorola Q waits for the device).
  8. Enter passkey for Motorola IHF1000: 0000 (four zeroes).
  9. Pairing is complete.

NHFE1062 (Jabra BT800 Bluetooth Headset)

  1. With the Speakster on, press and hold the Multifunction Button until you see a solid blue light (approximately 5 seconds).
  2. Release the Multifunction Button.
  3. Select Options on the Motorola Q.
  4. Select Bluetooth on the Motorola Q (make sure Bluetooth option is enabled).
  5. Select Add Device on the Motorola Q (Motorola Q begins searching for devices).
  6. Select JABRA BT800 (Motorola Q waits for the device).
  7. Enter passkey for JABRA BT800: 0000 (four zeroes).
  8. Pairing is complete.

NHFE1072 (Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth Headset)

  1. Press and hold the Call Control button down while rotating the Multifunction Dial upward.

  1. Hold the ON/OFF switch down for approx 10 seconds until the headset begins to blink in a red-blue sequence. The AX is now ready for pairing.
  2. Select Options on the Motorola Q.
  3. Select Bluetooth on the Motorola Q (make sure Bluetooth option is enabled).
  4. Click the trackwheel
  5. Click Add Device on the Motorola Q (Motorola Q begins searching for devices).
  6. Select Bluespoon AX
  7. Enter passkey for Bluespoon AX: 0000 (four zeroes).
  8. Pairing is complete

NHFE1063 (Jabra Bluetooth Headset BT130)

  1. Press the answer/end button and press the volume up (+) button at the same time, until a solid blue light comes on
  2. Select Options on the Motorola Q.
  3. Select Bluetooth on the Motorola Q (make sure Bluetooth option is enabled).
  4. Click the trackwheel
  5. Click Add Device on the Motorola Q (Motorola Q begins searching for devices).
  6. Select Jabra BT130
  7. Enter passkey for Jabra BT130: 0000 (four zeroes).
  8. Pairing is complete

N22333 (Motorola H700 Bluetooth Headset)

  1. With the module turned off, press and hold the Multifunction Button until you hear a high-pitched tone in the ear speaker.
    Note: When the module is successfully in pairing mode the indicator light will remain solidly lit.

  1. With the headset powered off, hold down the Multifunction button for 6 to 10 seconds until the light stays lit.

  1. Press and hold the phone symbol button until the blue light starts blinking, about 3-4 seconds.
  2. Press the pairing button until you get a solid blue light, about 8 seconds.
  3. Select Options on the Motorola Q.
  4. Select Bluetooth on the Motorola Q (make sure Bluetooth option is enabled).
  5. Click Add Device on the Motorola Q (Motorola Q begins searching for devices).
  6. Select Jabra JX10
  7. Enter passkey for Jabra JX10: 0000 (four zeroes).
  8. Pairing is complete

NHFE1080 (NxZen 5000 Bluetooth Headset)

  1. Press and hold the PINCH button until you hear 4 beeps or see 4 flashes, then release the button. The blue light indicator is on when the headset is in pairing mode. Press the pairing button until you get a solid blue light, about 8 seconds.
  2. Select Options on the Motorola Q.
  3. Select Bluetooth on the Motorola Q (make sure Bluetooth option is enabled).
  4. Click Add Device on the Motorola Q (Motorola Q begins searching for devices).
  5. Select NxZen
  6. Enter passkey for NxZen: 0000 (four zeroes).
