Hotspot Payment Options
TELUS Mobility's Hotspots are the ideal way to stay connected, wherever
your work takes you. Once you've signed up for a Hotspot subscription or
Pay Per Use account, you'll have access to key
sites across Canada, providing high-speed Internet access where you
need it most - at hotels, airports, convention centres, cafés and restaurants.
What you pay
You have the option of purchasing a monthly subscription for Hotspot access
if you have an existing voice or data plan with TELUS Mobility, or you can
purchase Hotspot access on a Pay Per Use basis at the following rates:

- Note: Please note that your Pay Per Use sessions will be activated
on their first use and consumed regardless of whether you are connected
(similar to a parking meter).

Where to buy
To purchase a Hotspot subscription, you must already have a post-paid
Mike or PCS voice or data plan with TELUS Mobility. You can add the Hotspot
National Unlimited feature at your TELUS dealer or corporate store, by
phone (1-888-253-4937), or at mytelusmobility.com. To purchase the subscription
through mytelusmobility.com, simply create a profile, and then follow
instructions to add the feature with the e-Care tool. Your mytelusmobility.com
username and password become your Hotspot username and password.
To purchase prepaid services using VISA, Mastercard or Amex go to a TELUS
Mobility Hotspot and find the area where service is available (hint: look
for the poster with the Hotspot logo). Now that you are in the service
area, simply turn on your latpop and ensure your Wi-Fi network card is
turned on. Launch your web browser and you will be directed to the Hotspot
login page which will guide you through the registration and Pay Per Use
purchase process. |
